Are you frustrated with your serger? Do you spend more time trying to thread it than you do serging?
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a serger? Whether you already own a serger, are considering upgrading your existing serger or are in the market for your first serger, this hands-on class will be worth its weight in gold. Debi will guide you expertly through the features of the Baby Lock serger, while creating a notebook full of stitched samples that you will refer to for many years to come. This class will take you from start to finish by exploring “basic and beyond” techniques. You’ll see how accessory feet can take your serging to the next level. And you certainly won’t want to miss out on all the helpful hints and tips.
Looking for a convenient way to transport your favorite notions to your next destination or to a class? This serged trifold sewing wallet will definitely fit the bill. Although it may seem like a small project, it is loaded with some awesome serger techniques. The wallet cover is created by layers batting and fabric and quilting them together in a crosshatch pattern with the chain stitch. A variety of specialty serger feet and accessories make constructing the inside of the wallet’s three sections a breeze. The sections include bias bound pockets, covered elastic dividers and a zippered packet. Instead of using a conventional sewing machine to finish the wallet. The serger chain stitch will be used.
Please be sure to let Ready Set Sew know if you will be using one of our machines.
